College Player under radar, survives streets

I stumbled across a great article today by ESPN.com writer Chris Low on a NCAA Division I basketball player by the name of Lester Hudson. Hudson, 23, is playing ball at UT-Martin and is currently the #3 scorer in all of Division I. He’s getting some real notice from the NBA scouts and leading his team to the postseason all this after playing one year of high school basketball and struggling to commit himself in the classroom because of several reasons but mostly due to growing up on the bad side of town in Memphis and having no real strong leadership from anyone.

I’m gonna be keeping an eye on this guy as he seems to be one of those really great stories that you have to root for. I hope he does well for himself and wish him the best of luck.
